🚀 Space Science Enriches Our Lives 🌍
“Dr. Vikram Sarabhai’s visionary dream to transform lives through space science has become a reality,” remarked Dr. Prakash Chauhan, Director of NRSC, Hyderabad, at the Valedictory programme of the “Space on Wheels” program, part of the “Western Maharashtra Space Expedition,” jointly organized by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and Vigyan Bharati. Held at COEP Technological University on 27th January 2025, this event celebrated ISRO’s role in enhancing everyday life—from satellite-enabled connectivity to disaster management and agricultural advancements. The program reached over 415,520 visitors across seven districts, showcasing ISRO’s advancements and fostering a deep connection between science and society. It highlighted how science can drive progress and innovation for the greater good.

The stage featured notable dignitaries, including Dr. Shivkumar Sharma, National Organizing Secretary of Vigyan Bharati; Dr. N. Aparna, Deputy Director of NRSC; Dr. Pankaj Priyadarshi, Project Director at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre; Dr. Sunil Bhirud, Vice Chancellor of COEP Technological University; Dr. Navin Kumar, Vice President of Vigyan Bharati (Western Maharashtra) and Naresh Chafekar, National Coordinator of “Space on Wheels” .
