    Ans: – Admissions to all the First Year B. Tech of COEP Technological University Pune (COEP Tech), being conducted under the patronage of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA) of the State Government which is the Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL Mumbai) of the Government of Maharashtra.

    For all India quota also candidate need to register for CAP round conducted by CET cell, Government of Maharashtra.

    Q. Which Entrance Exam Should I give to participate in the Centralized Admission Process?

    Ans:-     MHT CET   for seeking admission under Maharashtra State quota (Maharashtra domiciled as described in brochure published by CET cell, Government of Maharashtra .

    JEE (Main) for seeking admission under All India quota (Indian National).

     

    Q. How are the candidates admitted to COEP Technological University Pune?

    Ans:-  In COEP Technological University Pune  80 % of Sanctioned / Approved  Intake  seats are admitted through  MHT CET conducted by CET cell, Government of Maharashtra and 20% of Sanctioned / Approved  Intake  seats are admitted through  JEE Mains (All India (AI)). Both the types candidates admission are governed by CET Cell CET cell, Government of Maharashtra.

    In both the cases candidate need to register himself/herself on CET cell, Government of Maharashtra portal for CAP rounds.

    For example – Mechanical Engineering – Sanctioned / Approved Intake is 150

    80 % of 150 = 120 seats are admitted through MHTCET

    20 % of 150 = 30 seats are admitted through JEE Mains

    Q. Is there any Management Quota for admissions at COEP Technological University?

    Ans:- No Institute / Management quota in any of the programmes.  Admissions are strictly based on inter-se-merit.

    Ans:- While confirming the admission at COEP Technological University the candidate needs to pay the full fee only by demand draftissued by nationalized / scheduled bank, in favor of “COEP Technological University”, payable at Pune.
