Tech of COEP Technological University Pune (COEP Tech), being conducted under the patronage of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA) of the State Government which is the Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL Mumbai) of the Government of Maharashtra.

Ans:-     MHT CET   for seeking admission under Maharashtra State quota (Maharashtra domiciled as described in brochure published by CET cell, Government of Maharashtra .

JEE (Main) for seeking admission under All India quota (Indian National).

Q. How are the candidates admitted to COEP Technological University Pune?

Ans:-  In COEP Technological University Pune  80 % of Sanctioned / Approved  Intake  seats are admitted through  MHT CET conducted by CET cell, Government of Maharashtra and 20% of Sanctioned / Approved  Intake  seats are admitted through  JEE Mains (All India (AI)). Both the types candidates admission are governed by CET Cell CET cell, Government of Maharashtra.

In both the cases candidate need to register himself/herself on CET cell, Government of Maharashtra portal for CAP rounds.

For example – Mechanical Engineering – Sanctioned / Approved Intake is 150

80 % of 150 = 120 seats are admitted through MHTCET

20 % of 150 = 30 seats are admitted through JEE Mains
