- Choice-based Credit System with Relative Grading and Transparent Evaluation, with Honors and Minor Certifications Schemes (with additional credits) introduced for aspiring Learners.

NEP Implementation
Initiatives
- As a lead institute, COEP is committed to disseminating the NEP to other institutes.
- COEP has planned to conduct multiple workshops for the engineering faculty fraternity, imparting hands-on experience to design and develop NEP compliant curriculum.
- Interdisciplinary Mini Projects/Projects are part and parcel of the designed curriculum. This is very well feasible as two/three departments are grouped under the umbrella of Schools.
- Summer Social internship is made mandatory to the students after successfully completing the first year in summer vacation. Guidelines for internal mentors, time-sheet, and effective rubrics are developed for the assessment of the quantum of the work and awarding grades to the students.
- MOUs are signed with the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and FinIQ Consulting Industry for additional Multidisciplinary Minor certification at the University Level. A few MOUs are in the pipeline for the introduction of similar Multi and Interdisciplinary Minor certifications.
- Additional Bridge courses on Mathematics and Communication Skills for Direct Second Year students are introduced identifying their requirements.
- The flipped classroom concept is officially introduced and will be in force on every working Saturday from A.Y. 2024-25.
- Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is designed with the help of subject experts to increase the effectiveness and interest of students
- The “School Connect” program is introduced, executed, and monitored for increasing Gross Enrollment Ratio.
- UG and PG degree programs are designed for working professionals.
- 95% of the students are registered with the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC).
- Industry-sponsored Ph. D programs
- The extended campus of COEP Tech at Chikhali, Pune is ambitiously developed with EIGHT Multi-disciplinary Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Sunrise areas of Applied technologies, an Industrial Research and Innovation Park all with envisaged win-win associations and partnerships of industry/corporate and alumni.
- COEP’s Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership (BIEL) is an emerging world-class startup incubation in India. This is a Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India supported Technology Business incubator (TBI), exhibiting itself as ‘House of Start-ups’ at COEP Tech.
