Brief about the School of Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE)
The School of Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a part of COEP Tech University and is responsible for coordinating the study and research in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Instrumentation and Control. The school comprises of three departments and four centers, including the Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Instrumentation and Control, Center of Excellence in Signal and Image Processing (SIP), Center of Excellence in Smart and Renewable Energy Systems (SRES), Center of Excellence in Industrial Automation (IA), and Center of Excellence in Advanced Electronics Manufacturing (AEM).
The School aims at earnest articulation of the NEP compliant curriculum for various programs at B.Tech. and M.Tech. levels, expanding academic and outreach programs, quality assessment of such programs for a perpetual journey towards Excellence.
The School has a self-mandate for establishing and maintaining the world class research facility and collating resources, thereby promoting state-of-the-art research that results into enhancing the quality of publications, development of prototypes, technology transfers, and industrial consultancy. Additionally, it envisages promoting entrepreneurship and startup culture among students and faculty.
