    • PG thesis of Shivani Bhandari entitled “Crime Prevention Through City Planning: Case Study of Pune City” under the guidance of Dr. Arati S. Petkar received second prize of Best Thesis Award-2022 by Maharashtra Regional Chapter (Nagpur)
      of the Institute of Town Planners India.
    • UG thesis of Rudrasen Shorey entitled “Optimizing Urban Water Supply System Using Water GEMS” under the guidance of Dr. Arati S. Petkar received Late Mr. M.B. Gharpuray Prize for Innovative project by Civil Engineering students  June 2022.
    • NOSPLAN
      In the year 2023, the convention was hosted at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab from 16th to 18th February 2023. During the convention, COEP achieved First Prize in Box Cricket and Second Prize in Football. COEP won second place in the Gaming Trophy at the 24th Annual NOSPlan Convention 2023.
    • Mindspark
      The event named “ID Civil, Architecture and Planning” was conducted under the fest called MindSpark on 13th and 14th January, 2023. It consisted of 3 rounds. 1st prize is won by the student of COEP, Ketan Tawale and 2nd and 3rd round is won by the 2 teams from Kolhapur. The event was a grand success for the department of planning and the overall fest.
    • The students of first- and second-year M.Plan participated in the ‘Mission Amrut Sarovar Jal Dharohar Samrakshan Internship’ organized and funded by MoHUA and studied the Katraj and Pashan Lake waterbodies in Pune and gave proposals for their Rejuvenation. From among 250 Teams from different colleges across India, The Katraj Lake team mentored by Prof. P.M. Raval was selected as a winning team. The Pashan Lake Team mentored by Dr. Isha P. Panse was a part of top 100 shortlisted teams in November 2022.
    • Aishwarya Tupe, a PG student of the department, won the ‘Best Thesis’ award 2023′ from Institute of Town Planners India , MRC Nagpur, in September 2023.
    • The event named “Utopia” was conducted under the fest called MindSpark in 2023. 1st prize is won by the students of COEP, Tanika Shinde, Pruthviraj Parade Patil, Nayan Shinde and Neha Chavan.
    • “Smart Cities and Academia towards Action & Research (SAAR), a project in collaboration with the Smart City Mission and National Institute of Urban Affairs, GOI in 2021-22.
